At StandardAero, We Get It! Your airplane is more than metal and wiring. It’s how you stay ahead in an unforgiving world and help your company succeed. It’s far more than aluminum, engines, electronics and seats – it’s a daily test of your flight department’s reputation. We are dedicated to keeping it flying, increasing your aircraft availability and reducing your operating costs.

Our people are dedicated to excellence and innovation. We not only do things the right way, we’re always looking for a better way – from developing proprietary repair processes to redesigning our facilities to make them among the most efficient and environmentally friendly in the world. But ultimately, everything we do is to enhance the ownership and operating experience of our customers – to provide the kind of service that gives you peace of mind, knowing the job will be done with skill and precision and that you’ll be back in the air in the shortest possible time. That’s the standard we’ll be judged by, that’s the standard we set at StandardAero.

Our goal is to reduce the complexity of owning and operating an aircraft by providing you with a single source for all your MRO and other service needs. In today’s economy, why add the complexity of dealing with multiple vendors. That’s time wasted.

Before you even board this aircraft, its sheer size proclaims it the ultimate in private aviation. Modelled on the Boeing 737 airliner, the BBJ is almost three times the size of even the largest long-range corporate jets.

Stepping aboard, you discover unparalleled cabin space, offering enormous flexibility. Of course, this space has already been configured to your needs.

Depending on those needs, you might enter to discover a beautiful, private master bedroom set up at the front of the aircraft, with seating and dining areas beyond, as well as VIP or business class seating. Or you might find the private stateroom you requested, as well as a lounge for open meetings and a variety of seating.

The G550 has the efficiency to fly 6,750 nautical miles/12,501 kilometers nonstop, but also is capable of operating out of short-field, high-altitude airports. Payload is a plus, too. The G550 can transport up to 19 passengers and still has the range to fly nonstop more than 12 hours.

Powered by two Rolls-Royce engines that provide the most thrust of any jet in its class, the Gulfstream G550 has a cruise range of 6,750 nautical miles /12,501 kilometers. The G550 flies from Shanghai to Los Angeles or New York to Dubai nonstop at Mach 0.80. London to Tokyo or to Los Angeles is nonstop at Mach 0.85. Fly all those miles without the delay of fueling stops or extra landing fees.

More than 450 Gulfstream G550 aircraft are in service, and collectively, have flown more than 1 million hours, a performance that gives the G550 a National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) dispatch reliability rating of 99.9 percent―the equivalent of missing only one trip in five years of service. That’s dependability owners can count on, day in, day out, flight hour after hour.
